Ward Good To Go

(Boston Globe) Aaron Ward made it through practice today without limitations. Ward is traveling with the team to Toronto, has been cleared to play, and should be in the lineup tomorrow. Ward said he couldn't take full breaths until he returned to the locker room on Wednesday after being jabbed in the throat by Sergei Gonchar. Ward said the cartilage in his esophagus was damaged, which led to him coughing up blood.

Also...
Chuck Kobasew (back) also skated for the entire session today. Claude Julien said that unless he experiences stiffness before tomorrow night, the winger should be available.

Zdeno Chara didn't practice but will travel to Toronto and is expected to play. Bobby Allen will travel and most likely serve as the spare defenseman.

Peter Schaefer (shin) skated in a non-contact jersey today. He will remain in Boston.
