Sens & Canes Make Swap
The Ottawa Senators acquired center Cory Stillman and defenseman Mike Commodore from the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for defenseman Joe Corvo and right wing Patrick Eaves. The Senators clearly got the better end of this transaction...Here is the Senators website on their side of the deal.

When i look at the players and the contract involved; i fail to see how the sens loss this trade. Both of the players they acquire will be UFA ( not on the book for next year ) and they get ride of Corvo 4 per contract... I'm not sure that Corvo was the best option aviable as a PP QB for the Hurricanes.
