I still have a funny feeling that Chiarelli could pry Hossa out of Atlanta without giving up Phil Kessel in the 11th hour. The Thrashers may get desperate heading toward 3 O'Clock and make a desperation move so they don't lose Hossa this summer for nothing.
Update 2:58
Hossa To Pittsburgh...wow...when Crosby comes back the team is ridiculous.
***Remember, trades can still be announced if they were already in the process***

Works for me.
i'd rather get jokinen
I don't think we'll be dealing this year.
pittsburgh still doesnt' have any defence though.
Pit has no goaltending either. Strange move for them, not sure wtf they were thinking but we shall see.
I would also rather have Jokinen.
No chemistry! And they can't afford everyone next year (Malkin is due for a raise and Hossa wants more cash). I say we still sign him. Funny TSN said this time last year, they epnciled in the Sharks as cup favorites after getting Guerin. So we never know. No Bruin deals. No D man. Kessel stays. Muzz stays. Let's get back to hockey! Biggest loser of the day has to be the HABS!
Giving up Huet for nothing is a ridiculous move. My theory is they were freeing up cap space to sign Hossa for next season. They do have the prodigal Price who may do the job in net for them, but they ended up on the outside looking in. Atlanta got the best deal out of this all, however, because Pittsburgh gave up far to much.
