Ottawa Senators GM Bryan Murray fired head coach John Paddock today. Murray will now take over the duties behind the bench.
McKeon's Take: The only reason why I am posting this is because it looks like the Bruins 4-0 domination last night was the straw that broke the camel's back. Nice job boys.

Paddock looked like a deer i the headlights last night, didn't he? No emotion at all. Too bad his ultra talented team didn't perform for him.
He did take them to the finals last year, no??
Yeah....being from Winnipeg, John was a great guy with the Jets, too bad. Where the hell have Heatley and Spezza gone and their goaltending.....Sens are in trouble with or without Paddock !
Is Fleury good to go tomorrow ???
Murray was behind the bench last year. I think it's really a panic move by the Sens. Back to back shutouts and you can the coach? You have goaltending problems where both your goalies want out. So much power up front, it was only a matter of time before the rest of league played them harder and it is starting to show. Bruins are going Penguin hunting tonight! They will shut down Hossa and Malkin and when Hossa goes back to the dresser room he'll say to himself "Man, I gotta be a Bruin this summer!". Bruins 4 Penguins 2
Lets hope they do. And lets hope the refs have a different approach. This" dont touch Malkin" approach irritates me. I wanna see the Bruins come out hitting right off the bat and set the tone. A win tonight would be huge.
If the Bruins played like they did against the Senators, I think they'll be alright. It should be a very entertaining game though. Hopefully we can see a few Lucic hits to set the tempo. Beating the Sens then the Pens would be an enormous confidence boost, reminding them they can play with the best in the east.
As long as we don't get called for another "kneeing" against Malkin. Refs are paid to protect the sexy names of the league.
