Captain Zdeno Chara did not skate this morning but, is expected to play tonight. Coach Julien, once again, termed his absence as "routine maintenance." Since the Bruins play at Pittsburgh tomorrow Auld will get the nod in goal. Auld played very well this past weekend in a shootout win over Buffalo so, this start is very deserving as Thomas needs as much rest as possible down the stretch.
Here's the expected lines for tonight that skated in practice this morning...if Chara is available (if not, Bobby Allen is apparently good to go):
Sturm-Savard-Kessel
Lucic-Metropolit-Kobasew
Axelsson-Krejci-Murray
Sobotka-Nokelainen-Thornton
Chara-Wideman
Stuart-Ward
Ference-Hnidy
Auld
***Update 3:39***McKeon's prediction: The Bruins have been unable to beat the 'Canes in two attempts so far this year (0-2) losing both games by one goal. This comes to a bit of a surprise considering the'Canes have struggled for the majority of the year. Times will change tonight as the Bruins will win it 4-2.

The Bruins need a defenceman that can make an outlet pass. They're absolutely brutal getting the puck out of their own end. It's almost painful to watch...
this game has been dreadful to watch. everyone is puck watching instead of moving their legs. There is no flow to their game and they can't find any momentum...even Lucic had two big hits toward the end of the first that still did nothing for the team....ugh, here's hopin for a better 3rd..
