Dear Bruins Fans,

Dear Bruins fans,

There is no need to worry about the current streak of unacceptable games. Yes, they took 3 of 4 points in the last two games but, wasn't it a little difficult to watch the offense go brain dead? Well, I am here to say...
'Fear not: for behold, I bring unto you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all Bruins fans. For unto you is born this day in the city of Boston a new beginning, which is the remaining 13 games of the regular season. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the puck wrapped in ice shavings, lying in an opponents net.' And suddenly there was with the hockey gods a multitude of the heavenly host, praising the Spoked B, and saying, 'glory to the Bruins in the highest, and in the Garden, peace, good skills toward Black and Gold.'

That's what playoff hockey is all about Bruins fans.

Alright, so I completely ripped off one of my favorite Christmas movies but, I feel as if it is appropriate. Let's have some faith in this team. We should be glad that they had a rough patch before the playoffs began and that it did not happen in the last four games of the season. I have the utmost confidence that the Bruins will finish the season strong and catapult themselves into the playoffs. You should feel the same way. Defense wins championships, er, defense gets teams into the second round.

Regards,
McKeon

Mckeon, I agree with you. Final push starts now. Watch the B's pass the Senators this week. Watch the Rangers choke down the stretch. 6 points out of first in the conference, who would have thunk it at the beginning of the year. Go Bruins

I am just praying they can lock up 6th place...and not face montreal

I can see it too. Thomas returns to his A game. Chara comes back and starts to play like Chara has played. The team starts clicking. Savard, Murray, Kessel, Lucic. Bruins will finish 5th or 6th. I am thinking of those games next week 20 & 22. If we can't beat Montreal and them stinking habs - then all this is for nothing! BTW - I am hearing murmurs of a Rangers/Bruins home and home to be played at Yankee Stadium and Fenway. Ooooooh yeah!!

the uproar hasnt been too good coming out of NY cause that would be the last event held in Yankee stadium. most fans of the Yanks would want it to be a baseball game. i could care less since i am a Sox fan.

As long as this team stays healthy and gets it scoring touch back (what there is of it) at the right time we should get into the playoffs. I like our chances for first round against any opponent in a seven game series.

The goal is to at least gain some respectability back in this league and I think we have done that so far this year, thanks mostly to Julien and his staff.

I agree with federko. The B's were laughed at during preseason rankings and completely discarded. They are making an identity for themselves now and moving in the right long-term direction. A playoff birth would be a huge accomplishment for the organization given injuries this team as overcome. And bring on Montreal, lets give them a taste of their own medicine with a first-round upset!
