Chuck Kobasew had a CT scan today on his injured left foot. The results have not come in yet/they have yet to be reported. Kobasew was inured when he took a blue line blast off of the foot from teammate Zdeno Chara (that son of a...!...kidding of course). Peter Schaeffer will be in the line-up tomorrow night in the event that Kobes is not able to suit up. No one will be available for emergency recall (ER) from Providence because the Bruins have "12 healthy forwards." Lashoff was allowed to come up on ER because without Ference the Bruins only had 5 Healthy D-men.
Ference (leg) didn't practice today but will skate tomorrow morning. He will be re-evaluated then.
Patrice Bergeron will take his neuro-psych test this afternoon. If he passes, it will be another cleared stage in his recovery from the Grade 3 concussion. Bergeron is also scheduled to see a neurologist tomorrow for further re-evaluation. Bergeron participated in practice and said he feels good.
Andrew Alberts has been headache-free for the last three or four days. He must not experience headaches for one week before he is cleared for full-contact practice.
Marc Savard (back) will not play tomorrow.

Would love to see the Bruins play Montreal in the first round THA Garden Would Be Rockin.Pitts would be a really hard team that could spin Timmys' head around.
i'd love for them for wrap up 6th and play Carolina...
i agree with da wreck we need to get that 6th seed. if we played montreal in the first round the garden would be rocking... but with habs fans. and then we would probably lose 4 straight.
To Montreal I say F-them! When we were first and they were eigth we thought they had no chance. It won't be 4 straight - and it will be the toughest series for Montreal. We'd eat them alive - even without Savard. I would be more scared to play Pittsburgh because I have a feeling Kovalev will choke come playoff time and Price will learn a few things. Why are we talking round 1 already? Let's get into them playoffs! Kill the Leafs!
Bruins Stick to Game Plan - Dump Leafs 6-1. David Krejci continued his Marc Savard impression recording a goal and ading two assists in the Bruins 6-1 victory over an unvigorized Leafs team Thursday night at the Garden. Krejci has 5 points in his last two games since Marc Savard was out of the lineup with a broken bone in his back. Despite being ni Savard's shadows all season long, Krejci is now basking in the sun. "It's fun out there, to score goals and help this team win. I cannot replace Savvy nor am I trying to - but everyone has to help out" And everyone is. Case in point 19 year old Milan Lucic. Fiollowing a spectacular multiple point night in Toronto, the youngster potted two more goals and almost got his first career hat trick when his shot careemed off the post after beating a sprawled Andrew Raycroft. "I almost had it but I though I'd leave some for Saturday" joked Lucic. The Bruins are now tied with Philadelphia and moved 4 point up on the Capitals and can breathe a little easier. Not too easy - as they face the tough Otaawa Senators on a Saturday matinee and already they are thinking about it. "They are closer to the playoffs but they are as hungry to finish off the season strong. It will be tough but our guys are pulling it together and digging real deep and playing some great hockey in front of me" exclaimed Thomas. Asked if he was upset about losing his shutout bid with 15 seconds left in the third he added "Seems like it always happens to me. I don't think about these things too often, and then when I do it ends up behind me. But we won the game, got the two points and look forward to the next game" No update on Marc Savard's status and he is still considered day to day. A scary moment for Claude Julien when Dennis Wideman fell awkwardly into the end boards behind Thomas. Wideman was a little slow to get up but seemed okay despite missing the third period. "We felt it was better to rest him rather tahn aggrevate any injuries. We don't need him out of the lineup, we need him healthy and playing" Julien explained.
