Remember Hal Gill? Yes, of course you do. Well, today, I stumbled across this little number on our favorite website, thespokedb.blogspot.com...I mean NHL.com. This has to be some kind of joke. The headline before you access the article is, Gill a GODSEND for Pens. To quote last night's excellent episode of The Office, "Did I Stutter?!" No, there was no speech impediment involved there. Shouldn't that Godsend term be reserved for Sidney Crosby or the diving/slewfooting Evgeni Malkin? I suppose the next story on NHL.com will have a headline saying, Domink Hasek Is Still Good.
